The Virgin Islands Army National Guard offers many opportunities for men and women. The Virgin Islands National Guard has the best of both worlds – the opportunities and benefits associated with the military service and the opportunity for members of the Guard to continue their civilian lives in their hometown.

You can have a military career with educational benefits and not have to worry about putting college off for four years.

The National Guard is the only military service that has a dual mission. That means that the VI Army National Guard can be called upon by the Governor of Virgin Islands, as well as the President of the United States, in times of need.  Therefore, we offer Federal and State benefits that the other military branches cannot.
